Ugh James. Hate how this feels too close to the truth; it's like watching a black mirror episode, but reading

Abso- bloody-lately! You have got it spot on. Love it. It reminds me of a cartoon where the slugs are voting for salt.

Guess who I don't vote for! 😆

I'm guessing it's the same party that I don't vote for! 🤣I even have the t- shirt!

Brilliant! Indeed. I saw a woman in a Liverpool pub last month with a cap on saying “F*** The Tories”. But that's old hat now!

Divide (or at least distract) and conquer.

Yes. I am convinced that the populist leaders these days are not real racists. If you look at people like Farage and Trump, their only motivation is to ga,n more wealth. The only problem is that nobdy sane would have voted for them 20 years ago, so like Hitler did they make the disenfranchised feel they have something of value - their patriotism - create an enemy (distraction). They get voted in, and they arnd their cronies can make more in a night’s sleep than you or I would in a year’s work

Yes it staggers me that the likes of Trump and Farage and their multimillionaire friends have made the most bizarre coalition with the people who suffer most from their greed.
